NJ.com reports on $730,000 settlement achieved by Schall & Barasch in disability discrimination lawsuit.

On April 15, 2022, NJ.com, New Jersey’s largest provider of digital news in the State, published a detailed article on Schall & Barasch’s success in achieving a $730,000 settlement for one of its clients, Richard Taylor, a former police officer with the Township of Voorhees.

On Taylor’s behalf, Schall & Barasch had sued Voorhees for retaliating against Taylor after he sought a medical leave of absence for a disability. After protracted litigation, the $730,000 settlement was reached in mediation.
